Information for schools and teachers
What running the AMC at your school involves.
Time commitment
Administering the competition should require less than an hour before contest day, about an hour and a half for the contest itself, and about an additional hour to scan and send the answer sheets afterwards.
Pricing
Registration by the deadline is tiered per contest:
| Students | Price per student |
|---|---|
| First 5 | €10 |
| Next 15 | €8 |
| Any additional | €6 |
Late registrations, significantly delayed payments, or students added after initial registration cost €11 per student. UK schools are invoiced in pounds, with totals converted and rounded to the nearest pound.
Students who qualify for the AIME through a strong AMC 10/12 performance take it at no extra cost.
How test administration works
You'll receive materials about a week before the competition, and the test PDF becomes available for download 12 hours before your administration. After the contest, you scan the alphabetised answer sheets and upload them here within 24 hours.
Students may take both the AMC 10 and AMC 12 across the A and B dates, but only one exam per date.
Ready to take part?
If you received an invitation email, use the personal link in it. Otherwise apply for an account — the organiser reviews every application. Schools from countries outside the current coverage are welcome to apply too; the application doubles as a request to expand coverage.
